About Us
What We Do And Who We Are?
Cain Spaulding
Started wrestling in the second grade at Blaine and wrestled all the way through his senior year. Wrestling under coach Craig Foster he learned a lot of life skills for both on and off a mat. Started training mixed martial arts under Bob Anderson in 1993 and hasn’t stopped training since. With over 33 years of Martial Arts under his belt he’s had the honor of training under UFC vet Lance Gibson, spent a couple years training with Charlie Pearson at Charlie’s Combat. And got to spend some time on the mats with Randy Couture, Forest Griffin, Anderson Silva, Minotauro Nogueira.
Cain went pro under Lance Gibson and like several of Lances students had the opportunity to give back to the community and open his own gym. Sharing all of the skills that he’s learned from the greats and some through his own creativity derived from being on the mats his whole life. His greatest reward in being able to own and operate and coach other people is being able to encourage and build other people’s confidence in life.
Josh Chinchen
With over 20 years of martial arts experience, Josh brings a deep and well-rounded background to his Muay Thai classes. He began his training as a high school wrestler, explored karate after graduation, and eventually found his way into MMA in 2005, training under Matt Hume in Kirkland, Washington. During that time, he had the opportunity to train alongside UFC world champions and elite-level strikers and grapplers.
After a decade of MMA training and a handful of competitive fights, Josh began branching out into other martial arts, with a strong focus on Muay Thai. He has trained with numerous respected coaches and organizations and has attended many seminars and camps, including Ajarn Chai’s World Thai Boxing Association’s annual camps.
Josh’s coaching style emphasizes classes that are fun, challenging, and accessible to all levels—from complete beginners to professional fighters. He now has over a decade of coaching experience, and takes pride in helping students grow both technically and mentally through the art of Muay Thai.

Since his graduation, his passion for martial arts has only grown, committing himself to becoming a lifetime student; hoping to extend his philosophy to the younger generation.
Alexander’s class encourages young athletes to master basic fundamentals in an attempt to build a foundation for future success. His students will learn the respect and responsibility that comes from learning martial arts, while maintaining emphasis on hard work and discipline.
Dakota Alvey

Before transitioning into coaching, Dakota competed nationally across the United States in USA Boxing, earning titles including Golden Gloves Champion, Silver Gloves Champion, and a four-time Junior Olympic Gold Medalist. At the peak of his amateur career, he was ranked 5th in North America, competing against top talent from across the continent.
Dakota trained under and alongside professional boxers, developing a deep technical understanding of the sport rooted in fundamentals, discipline, and mental toughness. With over two decades of experience as a fighter, student, and coach, he now focuses on developing confident, technically sound athletes whether they are preparing for competition or training to become the strongest version of themselves.
Tim Harris
I started wrestling in fourth grade and built my foundation through to my senior year with years of disciplined competition. Wrestling taught me early that pressure, positioning, and accountability win—flash does not.
After completing my service time in the United States Air Force, I coached wrestling at the high school level and transitioned into MMA, finishing with a 24–4 amateur and professional record. I was never a striker—if the fight hit the mat, it ended. Most of my wins came by submission. That has always been my domain.
Ten years ago, at 245 pounds and wearing a size 36, I recognized I was off course. Rebuilding my body through strength training led me back to jiu-jitsu—and back to purpose.
Jaiden “Thunder” Bundy
Began his martial arts journey at the age of seven, training in Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Karate. Over the past 18 years, he has committed himself to continuous growth as both a competitor and coach, gaining experience across Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and MMA. In pursuit of deeper mastery, Jaiden has traveled to Thailand to train and study Muay Thai as both an athlete and a coach, reinforcing his belief in lifelong learning and refinement of the craft.
A decorated wrestler at Squalicum High School, Jaiden was a four-time state tournament participant and earned a fourth-place finish at the state championships during his junior year. Wrestling remains a cornerstone of his development, and for the past five years he has coached middle school and high school athletes, using sport to teach accountability, discipline, and grit while helping young wrestlers build confidence on and off the mat. He has also been a member of the Washington State Coaches Association for the past five years, reflecting his commitment to professional standards and continued education.
In 2025, Jaiden earned the title of WKA National Kickboxing Champion, leading to his invitation to represent Team USA at the World Championships in 2026. He approaches these achievements with gratitude, viewing them as the result of consistent work, strong mentorship, and supportive training environments.
Currently, Jaiden is preparing to compete at the ADCC World Championships in the summer of 2026, training alongside his tribe at The Lab HQ, a community he values for its culture of accountability and shared growth.
At the core of Jaiden’s coaching is a purpose-driven philosophy. He coaches to develop people first, using martial arts to build character, self-discipline, emotional control, and lasting confidence—creating an environment rooted in respect, integrity, and genuine care for athletes of all ages.
